Barn Rehabilitation in France Ougney – 2015. The goal of this project was to build a house that would be energy efficient using materials that were both economical and environmentally conscious. The 100 square meter house sits on a poured concrete slab with a radiant heating system inside and the top of the slab was polished and left exposed as the flooring surface. The old and fragile timber frame was strengthened with a new and fresh wooden structure to accommodate 3 bedroom upstairs…
